Day 1, served by Patricia. I enter the Olive Garden and mention table for 1 using the Pasta Pass.
The restaurant is almost fully empty as I enter at noon. The employee at the front asks if I would like to sit at the bar. I say it doesn't matter and she points me to the bar. Turns out it's mostly pasta pass people at the bar... I don't know if that's concincidence to prevent us from taking up table space, as servers are limited to 3 tables I believe.
12:01pm - I enter the restaurant and get seated immediately
12:21pm - my order finally gets taken... 20 minutes after I sit
12:37pm - my order arrives but one of the dishes is wrong
12:57pm - I ask for the bill and hand over my pasta pass
1:07pm or later - I finally get the bill
Points of contention were that it took 20 minutes for my order to be taken, and that it took 10+ minutes to get my bill. I understand that this is the first day of the pasta pass, but still... if I was in a big rush, I would not be happy about this.
When I told the employee I'd be using the Olive Garden Pasta Pass, the employee didn't know how it worked and said she'd need to ask her manager first. That was part of the 20 minute delay before she finally took my order.
I ordered a Whole Wheat Linguine with grilled chicken and meat sauce, and then 2 refills of garden veggies topping and grilled chicken topping. While official OG policy is refill orders can be ordered once the prior order hits the table, I told the employee that I'm okay with all the refills hitting at once to save her the walk. I try to be as nice as I can.
The garden veggie refill came out okay, but the grilled chicken refill turned out to be another pasta with meat sauce? I tell the employee that that isn't what I ordered and she said "that's what the kitchen provided"... I told her I can get a refill of just chicken, and she said she'll fix it. She eventually returned with the right order.
